Bertus Rietberg, Chairman of the Historical Assaciation Steenderen www.hvsteenderen.nl got in touch about two Dutch motorcycle enthusiasts who visited Gus Kuhn's showroom in 1968. Click here for their story, in Dutch:

In the late 1960s, Tonnie Engbers was busy with his motorcycle hobby. By the early 1970s, this resulted in the start of a motorcycle business, Engbers Motors in Zelhem. www.motoport.nl/zelhem Over the years, the company has grown considerably and a new location had to be found. In 1991, a new building was opened in the industrial area of Zelhem, which also housed Engbers Sidecar Service (EZS). But that too turned out to be too small after 10 years. In 2001, Renzo Engbers, Tonnie's son, took over the company and there has been a significant expansion, resulting in a sales area of more than 2500m2. From that time on, the workshop has also been split into two parts, one for BMW and one for all makes, both with their own specialized technicians.
